About the GC Patches

GC patches have the form gc-GC_VERSION-disclaim-DISCLAIM_VERSION.patch. When GC_VERSION is a date, it refers to a checkout of the CVS tree at that date. If DISCLAIM_VERSION is unchanged between different GC versions, it means the patch was just adjusted for the newer version.

Note! You must run “autoreconf -vif” before “./configure” in order to update build scripts which are not included in the patch. This requires the GNU toolchain (Automake, Autoconf, Libtool).
